Fame, No One Should Live Forever

For some reason most people yearn to have their name remembered. Some try to accomplish this feat by building pyramids, others try to discover something great, but the vast majority try to become famous. In my opinion fame is one of the worst ways to have yourself remembered. You have to think before you strive for fame. Is it really worth all the trouble?
Firstly privacy is almost nonexistent if you're famous. It doesn't matter if you're getting ice cream, parking the car, or going out with the family, people will take pictures of you and put them in magazines for all to see. It's sad how much these people get photographed. They aren't even doing anything interesting half the time their pictures are being taken. You can find pictures of almost every celebrity going out to get groceries on the Internet. I thought the whole reason we like celebrities is that they don't have to deal with mundane daily life stuff, so why do we take pictures of them doing exactly what we do. If you see a celebrity show some restraint and don't take a picture. Sure go ahead and talk to them, and if you can't restrain yourself get an autograph, but don't bug them too much, because tons of other people have probably already done that.
As a celebrity almost anything you say can be construed against you. If you go on a date with anyone the magazines will inspect and question whether the relationship is real or not. They dissect every moment of your life and use sentences out of context to prove everything from a fake date to an affair. You can't believe half the quotes you see in magazines, because things can almost always be taken two ways, and you don't know the real context in which they were really said. For that matter you don't know if the quote was even said at all.
Having a family life or a relationship is almost impossible. At every turn someone will be saying that either your spouse or you are fooling around or not taking the relationship seriously. Condemning children to a life of no privacy is a bad idea. During the teens years most teenagers crave privacy and if they are born as celebrities they will never get it.The children of celebrities don't even have a choice the curse is just passed through their genetics.
Lastly there are so many temptations and not a lot of support. Celebrities get invited to all of the risky parties. There are many times when they are offered drugs and alcohol, probably more then the average person would have in a lifetime. With so many people offering it's no wonder there are so many articles about celebrity instances when they get drunk or get high. We hear about so many celebrities going to rehab not just because we hear about everything celebrities do unlike regular people, it's also because of the temptation.
The life of a star is a lonely one. Their are many temptations and not a lot of support. Before you go searching for fame you should decide, is it worth the consequences?

Business
I'm still eight blogs behind. Also the poll will be closing on Friday for what should come after the business section.

Doctor Who Quote
A quote from the fourth doctor.
Brigadier: Believe me, Doctor, the place is impregnable!
The Doctor: Never cared much for the word 'impregnable.' Sounds a bit too much like 'unsinkable.'
Harry Sullivan: What's wrong with unsinkable?
The Doctor: 'Nothing,' as the iceberg said to the Titanic!
Harry Sullivan: What?
The Doctor: Glub glub glub....

  1. You better watch how great these blogs get or you may become famous and have to print a retraction.
